Part of every business’ success is having a Business Attorney, Insurance Broker and Accountant. Without these three trusted advisers you will have a lesser ability to properly manage and minimize your liabilities as you pursue life in your business world.
As an example, when you have an Insurance Claim that involves litigation (a law suit) naming you, not only will you be tendering this claim and action immediately to your Insurance Carrier but you will absolutely want to address the issue with your Business Attorney.
Many transactions do not involve items that are covered under an insurance policy and you will be bearing the burden of defending and possibly indemnifying the plaintiff in the matter. Even if your Insurance Company provides its defense and potential indemnity, you dare not keep that from your Business Attorney as there are certain sophisticated issues that your Business Attorney can help guide you in order to mitigate any pass-through expenses by the Insurance Carrier or the Insurance Carrier’s potential withdrawal from defending you.
With good health to you…
